Regular Pond Maintenance
Stress-Free, consistent tune-ups and cleanings
If you’re looking for a way to keep up with your pond maintenance without lifting a finger, we have the plan for you, tested by many years of cleaning and maintenance.
DIWhy charges $89/per maintenance visit. Visits will take place every other week from Spring, starting April or May, until Fall, ending in October.
Every other week a DIWhy employee will be out to complete the following tasks:
Clean skimmer box net/basket/filters/brushes and pump
Fertilize and trim and water plants
Repot plants as necessary
Change burnt light bulbs if needed
Add biological additives such as algicide, barley extract and beneficial bacteria
Weed along the peripheral of water feature
Adjust auto fill and/or pump auto shutoff
Net any floating debris
Visually inspect the water feature and make repairs if needed
Feed fish and assess fish health
Maintain water level
Maintain the biological filter and spillway
Seal rocks with waterfall foam as needed
This price does not include:
Fish food
Light bulbs
Biological additives (beneficial bacteria, algaecide, barley extract etc.)
Repairs to the water feature will need to be approved by the homeowner prior to work beginning (examples include: broken hoses, new skimmer box, new pump). At the end of every service visit, we will leave a service record outlining what was done to your water feature, service recommendations, product replacement needs, and enhancement recommendations.
