We make spring startups easy

As with all other home systems, outdoor pond and water features require regular maintenance for ongoing performance, functionality, and enjoyment, all of which we have seen from cleaning many pond and water features. While your maintenance needs may vary, DIWhy can help with all your water feature needs! The pricing, the startup process, and important information are all below.

 

Spring Water Feature Cleanout & Start Up Rates:

  • $115/service charge

  • $110/per man hour

  • $50/flat fee power washing

  • $10/per bag of debris removed and disposed of (if needed)

Spring Water Feature Cleanout & Start Up Process:

  1. Pump out existing water

  2. Manually remove and bag leaf debris

  3. Rinse entire water feature while pump discharges rinse water

  4. Power wash boulders and rocks

  5. Rinse entire water feature a second time while pump discharges rinse water

  6. Clean skimmer box, skimmer box filters/net/basket and clean headwaters

  7. Test pump to make sure it discharges water properly

  8. Assemble pump back onto hose in skimmer or pump vault

  9. Fill up water feature with fresh water

  10. Add dechlorinator and start up bacteria feature

  11. Visually inspect water feature when running (if possible)
